Parijat Academy runs almost entirely on the generosity of supporters like you. Because we keep costs lean, your contribution goes directly where it is needed most — the children.
Sponsorship Details
Parijat Academy, Pamohi Campus serves children from Garbhanga Forest Village and the surrounding tribal hamlets – children who are the first generation in their families to go to school.
Children are brought to Parijat Academy, Pamohi campus from their homes in Garbhanga village at around the age of 8. Until then, they go to school at the Parijat Academy, Garbhanga Campus.
At Pamohi we provide hostel accommodation, food, clothing, school supplies and take care of all their other needs – including medical and other related expenses.
The children continue to stay at Parijat until they pass out of the 12th grade, at around the age of 16 to 18.
Expense Details
Parijat Academy incurs approximately Rs. 2,000 of expense per child per month – covering education, food, accommodation, clothing and complete care.
We encourage you to sponsor a child for 10 years, but we also accept shorter pledges:
- 1 Year – Rs. 24,000
- 5 Years – Rs. 1,20,000
- 10 Years – Rs. 2,40,000
Once you complete your donation, we will provide you a six-monthly report on the child you are supporting – with their current progress and plans for the next six months. We will continue to provide you this report for the duration of your sponsorship.
